George Clooney gives each close friend a million dollars

Global actor George Clooney awarded 14 of his close friends a million dollars each.

Clooney said in an interview with "GQ" magazine, "At that time he did not have a family to spend on, so he was happy to give money to his friends."

"His friends helped him when he needed them," Clooney said, noting that he borrowed money from them before he became famous and sometimes slept in their homes.

He revealed that he "invited his friends to dinner one night and handed them a bag containing one million dollars in cash."

"I was thinking that I will not marry or have children. I will work and have good friends, my life is complete and I am fine," he said.

He continued, saying, "But I did not know how incomplete my life was until I met Amal, and everything changed. I felt that there was a great void in my life."
