A giant garbage collection was organized on October 30 in Israel to clean the country's beaches.
Butts, caps, plastic bottles, packaging ... The harvest took place in a hundred sites, and mobilized no less than 18,000 people, according to officials.
A necessary mobilization because Israel, and especially Tel Aviv, are not exemplary in this area.
The city's coastline is indeed, according to WWF, the third most polluted in the Mediterranean, behind those of Barcelona and southern Turkey.
