It is a setback after three victories in three days, but it is a draw which ensures the essential for Tunisia: a 20th qualification for CAN, the 15th in a row.

The Carthage Eagles suffered on the Taifa Stars lawn despite the opening of the scoring in the 11th minute of Saif-Eddine Khaoui, well served by Youssef Msakni.

Mondher Kebaier's men mastered the game for a long time, especially in the first half, before being surprised by the Tanzanian reaction with an equalizer at the start of the second half.

Feisul Salum, who came into play in the 36th minute, served by John Bocco, revives the Taifa Stars (47th).

But the Tunisians decide to lock the match with the exits of Sliti and Khazri to keep the point of the draw.

Mission accomplished for Mondher Kebaier and his proteges who will finish without pressure these qualifications.

Tanzania, it still keeps its chances, on condition of taking the best on Equatorial Guinea and Libya during the last two days.
