The Eagles will be traveling again for the CAN for the eighth consecutive time.

Mali secured its qualification for CAN 2021 in Cameroon by winning against Namibia (2-1) for the second time in four days after a

first success in Bamako

(1-0).

The Eagles took the game from the right end by opening the scoring very early on a strike in the top corner of Sékou Koita (12th).

Technically safer and showing more control than in the first leg, the Malians dominate and are quick to double the bet thanks to Moussa Doumbia (37th) on a pass from Bilal Touré.

Namibia will regain hope with a goal from Elmo Kambindu (39th), but the Eagles will save their victory despite a missed penalty from El-Bilal Touré fifteen minutes from the end of the game.

This success from Mali dooms Chad, which has scored just one point in four games.

The Sao are now eliminated from the Cameroonian CAN race.

End of the game!
