In November last year, an iron pipe used for a scaffolding being demolished fell from a construction site in a building in Wakayama City, killing a man walking nearby, and police were working on the site. On the 16th, two of the presidents of the company were sent documents on suspicion of accidental fatalities in business.

The documents were sent to the 38-year-old president of Wakayama City's construction company "Hiroken" and the 43-year-old representative of Wakayama City's "SIGN TAKASE" who was the site manager of the construction contractor.

Last November, at the construction site of a building in Wakayama City, an iron pipe weighing about 5 kg fell during the dismantling work of the scaffolding installed near the rooftop on the 12th floor, and Chuo-ku, Osaka was walking nearby. Tomoyuki Itagaki (26), a bank clerk in Osaka, has passed away.

According to investigators, the president of Hiroken, who was working at the site, removed the metal fittings that secure the iron pipe without confirming safety, and found that he had fallen.

In addition, the site manager said that the iron pipe had accidentally fallen at the site four days before the accident, but he had not taken thorough preventive measures.

For this reason, police sent documents to the two on the 16th on suspicion of accidental fatalities.
