“In my career, I have met a lot of politicians with whom I have always been cordial;
I met (the Democratic leader) Nancy Pelosi and I was cordial to her too.
This is the only time I have met Donald Trump.
We said hello to each other.
He was very sympathetic… I did not enter into a political discussion, ”he explained.

Vince Vaughn, however, seems closer to the American right than to the Democratic camp, as evidenced by his support in 2016 for Senator Rand Paul, the unfortunate candidate for the Republican nomination, who therefore lost to Donald Trump.
Today, Vince Vaughn describes himself more as a "libertarian", a term, in the United States, more associated with the far right than anarchist theories.
