Prince Harry makes an appearance in UK version of 'Dancing with the Stars'

Now that he no longer has royal obligations, Prince Harry is a little more free to move around.

This is how he made an appearance in

Strictly Come Dancing

, the British version of

Dancing with the Stars

, to support his friend JJ Chalmers, a former Royal Marines officer injured while on a mission in Afghanistan.

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance on @bbcstrictly tonight to (virtually) cheer on pal, former @RoyalMarines and @WeAreInvictus medalist @JJChalmersRM, who is competing on the show.

“I'm so proud, genuinely proud that here you are in this position now,” the duke told him.

Prince Harry has expressed "pride" in seeing his friend succeed after everything he's been through.

JJ Chalmers said the Invictus Games, founded by the Duke of Sussex for veterans and wounded soldiers, had "saved his life".

The former soldier lost two fingers in an explosive attack in Afghanistan, his shoulder was completely destroyed and he suffered several facial injuries.

After winning a medal at the Invictus Games, he began a career as a sports presenter in the UK.

If Barack Obama returns to the White House, Michelle leaves him

Barack Obama has been very clear about his professional future: it will not be in the White House.

The reason ?

“I'm not going to work with White House staff or anything.

There are some things I am not going to do or Michelle would leave me!

He replied on CBS

Sunday Morning

, when the reporter asked him if there was any chance he would join President-elect Joe Biden's cabinet.

For now, Barack Obama is promoting his memoir,

A Promised Land

, and will also be in the 20 hours newscast of France 2 on Tuesday.
