Tokyo New Corona Confirmed 180 New Infections Third most on Mondays November 16th, 15:05
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that it has confirmed that 180 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo, according to the preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm on the 16th.
It is the first time that the number of confirmed infections per day has fallen below 200 since the 9th of this month, 7 days ago.
However, on Mondays, many medical institutions are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, which tends to be relatively small on weekdays, but 180 on the 16th was the third highest on Mondays.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 34,931.
