Pigeon wing, hooks, and right strike.

Once again, the captain of the Fennecs, Riyad Mahrez showed the full extent of his talent against Zimbabwe to score the second goal of the Greens (38th).

The Manchester City striker had also had two free kicks (6th and 25th) to illustrate.

But the ball was passed respectively to the left and to the top of the goal.

Four minutes earlier, thanks to a center Mohamed Halaimia, Andy Delort had placed his header for the opener.

A tenacious Zimbabwe

In order not to make it too easy for the Greens, Zimbabwe returned to the match just before the break (43rd) with a free kick in the top corner hit by captain Knowledge Musona.

In the second half, Raïs M'Bolhi saved the Greens on several occasions, who were sometimes surprised by the opponent's cons.

Even if Baghdad Bounedjah, scorer in the previous meeting, once again endangers Zimbabwe with a powerful shot from the right which passes just to the left of the cage (71st).

Finally, Les Guerriers stuck to the score in the last 10 minutes when Prince Dube cheated M'Bolhi on a corner (86th).

Winners 3-1 in the first leg, with this draw, the Algerians signed a twenty-second game without defeat.

This point brought back from Zimbabwe remains sufficient to go to the final phase.

This should satisfy the coach Djamel Belmadi who was aiming for a "

qualification

to allow the players "
