On November 13, in the ancient city of Lijiang, Yunnan, more than 20 media professionals from both sides of the Taiwan Strait walked into the century-old Naxi music family to experience the culture of Chinese ethnic minorities.

Xiao Rulian, the second-generation descendant of the Naxi music family, is a folk artist who can sing hundreds of ancient songs in the Naxi area.

Many songs are currently only sung by her.

The Naxi folk songs mainly include Naxi ancient music, Dongba sacrificial music, folk songs, etc., including two major types of traditional and impromptu music. They are important forms of Naxi people’s emotional communication and expression of etiquette.
