The events of the 39th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair were hosted by the American writer Michael Anderley, author of science fiction novels who won several international awards, in a virtual session held remotely on the "Sharjah Read" platform, in which he asked: "What happens when you combine your passion for reading with your skill Entrepreneurship, and you decide to write a book to achieve one of your goals that you have set in this life?

Anderley revealed his unique approach to self-publishing to achieve prolific productions, beginning with the launch of the first books in the 21-book "Cortherian Gambett" series, titled "Death Pickms Hare" on November 2, 2015, to be followed by the second book of the series on November 11th, and the book The third on the 23rd of the same month.

"Within 90 days I completed the first five parts of the series, because I decided early on that I needed at least three books to start promoting my book series, and most importantly, I realized that readers who They want to give new writers an opportunity to sell their books. They will not stop at reading a book or two, but rather they will ask for more new content. ”

He added, "One of the main reasons for my success is that I continued the path to the end and succeeded in reaching a logical conclusion, which is to give readers what they want. My success is due to my strategic efforts in promoting my work on social media platforms."

When fans raised their voices for more science fiction content, Anderley began collaborating with a group of independent writers to write new books exploring the worlds of science fiction and fantasy, and his publishing house has released more than 1,000 books in cooperation with 50 writers.
