Inevitable subjects

Asked about a video of

Broute

parodying an editor in chief of a satirical magazine, Bertrand Usclat explains that "this episode sheds light on [s] our own doubt on these questions".

"Offensive cartoons don't personally make me laugh," he explains.

"But if it is necessary to place a pawn in a camp, I will defend them".

A balance that clearly shows the difficulty of dealing with this type of subject as a comedian.

"All the more complicated since it is one of the obligatory topical subjects," he adds.

According to the creator of

Broute

, making jokes with political subjects is however more and more necessary.

"There is a kind of bonus to committed humor," he observes.

"People are happy to see editorial humor in this difficult time."

"Everything is a question of angle"

An observation that Sébastien Liebus, co-founder and editor-in-chief of the parody site

Le Gorafi,

joins

.

For him, all subjects are potentially material for humor.

"We forbid ourselves nothing, there are no taboo subjects", he supports.

"Everything is a question of angle: you can approach any subject, as long as you do it from an unassailable angle".

The creator of

Gorafi

thus cites as an example several difficult subjects, treated by his parody site.

"For the attacks, we had quite simply made an article called 'World of shit'. And another called 'Mohammed no longer dares to draw himself'. Later, we wrote an article. 'Children outraged after cartoons of Santa Claus'. "

To only cite a few.
