In response to this, an urgent countermeasures meeting was held at the prefectural office on the 13th.



Among them, it has been reported that no situation has been confirmed so far, such as mass death of wild birds or a rapid increase in debilitated birds, and poultry farms within a radius of 3 km from the place where the virus was confirmed. A policy was announced to take measures such as distributing lime for disinfection.



It also means strengthening wild bird surveillance within a 10km radius.

According to the prefecture, the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus has not been confirmed in the prefecture since 2016, four years ago.
