[Explanation] On November 12, the six-day fourteenth cross-strait media Jingchu trip event was held in Wuhan.

On the same day, more than 20 media reporters from both sides of the Taiwan Strait visited the Yellow Crane Tower, a landmark of Wuhan city and known as the "first building in the world" to witness the new look of Wuhan's recovery after the epidemic.

[Commentary] The 40-year-old Taiwanese reporter Ye Peiyao came to Wuhan for the first time.

Stepping on this land in person and boarding the Yellow Crane Tower to overlook the three towns of Wuhan, Ye Peiyao "sighed with emotion."

He said that apart from everyone wearing masks consciously, the lively scene before him could not convince him that the city had experienced an epidemic not long ago.

Before I came, I felt that there would be something here. To be more serious, it seemed that there was a kind of murderous atmosphere, because after all, it was, after all, it was the hardest hit area before, but when I actually came, I found that under the orderly leadership of the government, I feel that all walks of life are recovering quickly, and they are all back to normal pace.

[Commentary] Taiwanese reporter Kuang Xiuhuang once visited Wuhan in 2017. He visited the Yellow Crane Tower again on the same day. He overlooked the rolling traffic on the Yangtze River Bridge and was attracted by the magnificent beauty of “only seeing the Yangtze River Skystream”.

Kuang Xiuhuang said that before coming to Wuhan this time, I still had some fears and worries in my heart, but after I arrived, I found that there was a prosperous scene here and would tell the Taiwanese people the truest situation of Wuhan through reports.

Because what I see is that if the scene in the middle of the epidemic is more panic, it may be that there are no people, or it may not be like we came to the Yellow Crane Tower today, so many tourists, and then everyone is actually quite relaxed. I feel that everyone can do this after the epidemic, that is, recovering so quickly, I think it’s great.

[Explanation] After the outbreak, the Hubei Taiwan Affairs Office implemented a “one-to-one” tracking service for more than 1,700 Taiwanese compatriots in Hubei, carefully treated four Taiwanese who were diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia, and actively coordinated the transportation of large numbers of Taiwanese compatriots back home safely.

With the joint efforts of all parties, no Taiwan compatriot has lost his life due to the new crown virus, and no Taiwanese company has experienced a cluster infection.

[Explanation] The "Jingchu Trip for Media on Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait" has been held for thirteen consecutive sessions, focusing on one theme each year, including economic development and construction, historical and cultural monuments, ethnic minority culture, and cross-strait exchange bases.
