Beijing News (Reporter Wu Pingping) On November 12, it was reported that a student of Nanjing Forestry University was diagnosed with tuberculosis.

At 3 pm on the 12th, a staff member of the Chronic Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Institute of the Jiangsu Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed in a telephone interview with a reporter from the Beijing News that at present, one student at the school has been diagnosed with tuberculosis.

The staff member said that she only learned today that a student of Nanjing Forestry University was diagnosed with tuberculosis. Currently, the city's disease control and district disease control are under investigation.

At the same time, the provincial disease control requires schools to disinfect the campus, isolate and treat confirmed students, and screen students in the same dormitory and class.

A student from Nanjing Forestry University who did not want to be named told reporters that she has not seen the relevant notice and is not clear about the current number of confirmed cases.

But she found that some staff have used 84 disinfectant to disinfect the dormitory building, and some dormitories have used ultraviolet disinfection.

The student said that many students in the school wear masks, and she herself has taken preventive measures such as "wearing masks, washing hands frequently, and avoiding going to the cafeteria as much as possible."

On the afternoon of November 12, the reporter called the Chronic Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Xuanwu District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Nanjing. A staff member said that the investigation is currently underway and the investigation results of the incident will be announced later.
