Sharjah International Book Fair hosted Emirati writer and novelist Fathia Al Nimr, and Spanish novelist Alex Chico, in a dialogue session that he organized as part of a series of sessions dedicated to dialogue between Emirati writers and intellectuals with their foreign counterparts, and reviewed the differences between reality literature and fiction literature, and their relationship to other literary styles, in addition to the space of freedom. Literature affords a writer to express others.

The session, moderated by writer Iman Al-Youssef, and held (remotely) via the "Sharjah Read" platform, discussed the impact of current and contemporary variables on creative races, and the role of social media in creating new forms of critical writing, and opening a new door for the reader’s relationship with the writer that goes beyond his relationship The historical existing between his creative product only.
