Containment remains unchanged

Prime Minister Jean Castex announced Thursday "the maintenance of the containment rules unchanged at least for the next 15 days", saying that the recent downward trend in the number of positive cases was "fragile" and "to be confirmed".

On the other hand, he added, "first relief measures" could take place on December 1 if the health situation improves.

But they would be "strictly limited to businesses that we have been able to close".
