Quickly done and well done!

It only took two minutes of play for Burkina to open the scoring and 25 minutes to fold the game against a cold-picked Malawi in Ouagadougou.

Stallion striker Lassina Traoré took care of almost everything with a double (2nd and 25th) which put his teammates on the right track.

The Ajax player even missed a nice hat-trick by missing a penalty in the 63rd.

The Stallions still had a few minutes of stress after the reduction in the penalty score of Gerald Phiri (81st) before Bryan Dabo put an end to the suspense in stoppage time (90 + 3)

Held in check by Uganda on the first day, winner in South Sudan on the second, Burkina is on track to regain the CAN after missing that of 2019. With 7 points, the Stallions are leaders in Group B with a better goal difference than Uganda.

A little earlier, Uganda indeed provided the minimum service against South Sudan (1-0) thanks to a goal from Halid Lwaliwa (86th).

The Cranes really suffered in the face of the group's red lantern before being delivered by their defender less than five minutes from the end of the match.
