Umbrella Academy will have a season 3 on Netflix

, and there are many, rest assured, it was officially renewed Tuesday by the streaming giant Netflix.

If doubts still hovered, according to the American press, behind the scenes, everything seemed in fact already recorded.

Netflix would indeed have ordered a season 2 and a season 3 last year, after the good performances of season 1 when it went online.

If we do not have viewing figures for streaming services, season 2 had risen to the top of the most viewed programs on Netflix in August, when it was released on the platform.

For this new season, many theories have already been put on the table, but as usual, Netflix has not commented on the subject.

We will therefore have to wait a little longer to learn more about the

teased at the end of season 2 and the new mysteries surrounding this family with superpowers who are trying to prevent the apocalypse.

On the production side, Steve Blackman will be back as executive producer.

Everyone in the Hargreeves family should be there too: Vanya, Luther, Allison, Klaus, Number Five and even Ben.

Netflix has also unveiled the start date of filming for this season 3, which should not begin before next February in Toronto.

So what to expect for a release of the series in late 2021 or early 2022.
