After the body of a trapped person was found on October 29, after 12 days of full rescue, the rescue team discovered a new body of a trapped person on November 9.

As of 23:38 on November 9th, the rescue team has found the remains of 2 trapped persons and 7 trapped persons in the tunnel.

  The on-site rescue headquarters immediately organized on-site surveys and excavations in accordance with the aftermath disposal work plan. Criminal technical investigators such as public security organs and other criminal technical investigators and hospital doctors conducted on-site autopsy examination of the victims’ remains, fixed evidence, extracted DNA samples, and bagged Numbered and transported to Baise by funeral vehicle at 23:38 on November 9.

The next step will be to conduct DNA comparison and identification of the newly discovered remains of the victims to confirm the identity of the victims.

  It is reported that the remains of a trapped person excavated on the afternoon of October 29 were sent to Baise City for DNA comparison and identification. It was confirmed that the victim was Chen Zhenlian, a native of Pingtan County, Fujian.
