Four years ago, police found two 37-year-old men murdered in another case in a material yard in Shirosato Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, where a 77-year-old man was found murdered. He was arrested on suspicion of robbery and murder for robbing copper wires.

The arrested were Jun Uchida (37), an unemployed person in Shinhara, Mito City, and a 24-year-old man in Hitachinaka City, who was a boy at the time.

According to police, Uchida and his colleagues beat the head and face of Takee Kudo (77), who lives on the premises, in February 2016 at the material storage area in Castle Town, and strangled him. It is suspected that he was a murder-robbery because he took about 6 tons of copper wire and the equivalent of 1.08 million yen.

A security camera near the scene shows two cars coming in and out a few hours before the incident and a figure, and as a result of proceeding with the analysis of the video, two people charged with another theft case were involved. It turned out that there was a suspicion.

Mr. Kudo was in the business of buying copper wire and aluminum at that time, so the police are investigating detailed motives and circumstances.

Police have not disclosed the approval or disapproval of the two, saying they would interfere with the investigation.
