This is news that could bring us a little balm to the heart.

Interviewed in

alongside his accomplices Coralie Barbier and Luc Junior Tam as part of their multidisciplinary label Mosaert, Stromae confided a little about his musical projects.

In addition to having assured not to have put an end to the music, the Belgian artist has revealed floor on a new album, at an indefinite date.

"An album will arrive at some point"

“I never really stopped except at a time when I was really not well, explains Paul Van Haver, whose real name is.

I do it every day, I work with and for others… An album will arrive at some point but I don't really have a date.

To have diversified, not to have the attention focused on the Stromae project, it feels good.

A new album by the artist would be a real event because since 2013 and

Racine Carrée

, Stromae has not released any solo musical projects.

In 2018, however, he unveiled an unreleased track of nearly nine minutes, composed as the soundtrack of a parade of his brand Mosaert.

A few days earlier, he had revealed the reasons for this musical break to Laurent Delahousse on France 2. “I needed to remove everything I had on my shoulders, this pressure that success brings.

I just needed to find myself, me, to find my loved ones.

(…) I had done 200 concerts in two years, which was an insane number.

It was a superb experience but (…) it went too quickly ”.

The artist had also confided to having lived a burnout, as well as a violent reaction to an antimalarial treatment during a tour.
