[Explanation] On November 8, the 3rd China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the CIIE) is being held in full swing.

In the past two CIIEs, the food and agricultural products exhibition area (hereinafter referred to as the food exhibition) is one of the most popular exhibition areas for participants, and this year is no exception.

Italian chocolates, Thai tropical fruits, Korean turkey noodles, East Timor cat feces coffee... a global gathering of food, exhibitors from various countries enthusiastically chanted to promote their own special products to the participants.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy. Thanks to the successful experience of the previous CIIE, Ferrero Group, the world’s third largest chocolate confectionery manufacturer, will further expand its booth this year and bring more than 20 brands of its classic brand family. A total of 40 single-product "groups" were unveiled, among which 8 global best-selling products made their debut in China.

We (in the last CIIE) brought a lot of products, (released) Kinder Happy Hippo Chocolate Sandwich Biscuits. This is the first time we set foot in the field of (biscuits). Our release was very successful. "Red", quite successful, very good.

So we brought more categories this year.

We are also increasing investment in the brand, such as launching (Kinder Happy Hippo) TV commercials, using our brand-new Hippo cartoon image, which is what you can see at the CIIE.

[Explanation] Due to the need to strictly prevent and control the epidemic, the trial of imported cold-chain foods such as salmon and tuna, which were quite popular at the last CIIE, was temporarily suspended, but the CIIE food exhibition, known as the "Global Delicious Carnival", is hot Unabated.

"High-heeled shoes" bread, soy sauce ice cream...These gourmet food booths for tasting are crowded with people.

However, the most popular one is a cat dung coffee from East Timor, known as the "Diamond in Coffee".

According to reports, this coffee is priced at 20,000 yuan per kilogram (RMB, the same below), which is the most expensive coffee in the world.

Under normal production conditions, each cup of coffee costs as much as 400 yuan.

  [Concurrent] Exhibitor Li Ziqiang

Then in East Timor the entire country’s annual output is only 800 kg, so (wild) civet coffee is a small probability event in nature, that is to say, a healthy and happy civet, after eating and drinking enough, It will select the best quality coffee berries on the coffee tree and eat them as after-dinner fruit.

Its preciousness also comes from coffee (raw material), which can only be found at an altitude of 1200 meters to 1600 meters, so we need to pick it up manually, so that the intensity of work will be high.

[Explanation] At the food exhibition, some new and exotic products opened the eyes of Chinese consumers.

Turkey noodles, one of the world's hottest instant noodles brought by Korea's Samyang Foods booth, set off a "challenge wave" in the tasting team.

The biggest feature of this product is the "continuously enjoyable and colorful spiciness". The traditional Korean hot sauce is used as the base to make the turkey noodles slightly sweeter in mouth but more spicy as you eat.

At the scene, many participants who tried to eat "early taste" were so hot and sweaty.

  [Concurrent] Participant Mr. Lin

Yes, the spiciness is enough, the acidity is enough, and the noodles are very elastic.

  Participant Miss Li

It's very spicy, it's okay to eat slowly, but I think it's still very spicy when I eat it quickly, and I sweat a little bit.
