The discovery of a dinosaur that lived in Morocco 66 million years ago

A research team from the University of Bath in Britain has found the remains of a dinosaur from the "duckbill" family, which lived 66 million years ago in a city in Morocco, according to Sky News.

The remains were discovered in rocks near what has become the city of Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, and dates back to the end of the Cretaceous period, about 66 million years ago.

The research team wondered about the way this dinosaur moved to Africa, at a time when there was no land bridge with the continents of North and South America, Europe and Asia, where the animal was living and it is likely that it was that the dinosaur arrived there swimming.

This is the first time that a member of a "duckbill" dinosaur family has been found on the African continent.
