The Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that it has confirmed that 294 new people have been infected with the new coronavirus in Tokyo, according to preliminary figures as of 3:00 pm on the 7th.
The number of confirmed infections per day exceeds 200 for the third consecutive day.
Also, the number of people exceeding 290 is 339, which is the first time since August 20th.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo to 32,429.
