　　When introducing the bill, Li Weinong, the Secretary of Economics and Finance who attended the meeting, said that the government expects that the general consolidated budget revenue for next year will be 96.03 billion yuan (MOP, the same below), a decrease of 26.63 billion yuan from the original budgeted revenue in 2020, a decrease of 21.7%.

The general comprehensive budget expenditure is 95.21 billion yuan, a decrease of 5.47 billion or 5.4% from the initial budget for 2020.

　　Li Weinong said that although the income of the SAR is expected to decrease in 2021, under the premise that public finances are still stable, he will propose to extend a series of benefits for the people next year, including cash sharing plans, medical subsidy plans, pensions, pensions, and disability pensions. In addition, it is also recommended to continue to implement a series of tax reduction and exemption measures next year. It is estimated that the total amount involved is about 2.7 billion yuan.

The amount of salaries for civil servants will also remain unchanged next year.
