Beware of vitamin deficiencies .. Advice of German doctors for asthma patients

The German Lung Foundation has warned that a lack of some vitamins leads to complications in asthma patients.

The foundation's doctors explained that patients who suffer from a lack of vitamin C, vitamin A and folic acid, are more likely to have asthma complications and recurrent attacks.

The dietary sources of vitamin C are oranges, peppers, and broccoli, while the dietary sources of vitamin A are liver, carrots and collard greens.

As for the food sources of folic acid, they are legumes, nuts, and green leafy vegetables such as spinach.

Asthma patients should also avoid foods that contain flavorings, artificial colors, or preservatives.

Because these foods cause hypersensitivity for asthma and allergy sufferers, which may lead to serious complications and respiratory failure
