Recently, 9 baby Arctic wolves were born in a zoo in Huzhou, Zhejiang. 2 males and 7 females.

Their parents are from South Africa and they "settle down" in Huzhou in 2019.

In late August 2020, the 4-year-old wolves reached their fertile age and successfully mate with the opposite sex and gave birth to these 9 baby wolves recently.

The newly-born little wolf pups still couldn’t open their eyes. They hummed and ate milk with the help of the breeder, and some leaned on the hands of the breeder or pillowed on their "good brothers". Sleep on the body.

The zoo told reporters that the new mother "mother wolf" seems to have not adapted to the new identity and has not been breastfeeding. The breeders had to take the little wolf cubs to the nursery for artificial feeding.

It is reported that the Arctic wolf, also known as the white wolf, is a canine mammal with a life span of about 12-16 years. It is distributed in northern Eurasia, northern Canada and northern Greenland. It can endure long winters, extremely cold weather and weeks of hunger.
