The Arab Republic of Egypt crowned two new champions of the Arab Reading Challenge in its fifth session in both public education and Azharite education, after the end of the nationwide qualifiers, and the two Egyptian champions will join the final competition to choose the champion of this exceptional version of the challenge at the level of the Arab world. .

Egypt recorded a distinguished presence in this exceptional version of the Arab Reading Challenge, which was conducted electronically with the participation of more than 13 million students from 26,332 schools and religious institutes nationwide.

The public education sector witnessed the victory of the ninth grade student Abdul Rahman Mansour Ahmed Mohamed, the title of the Arab Reading Challenge in the fifth and special session of the challenge this year.

Whereas, the title of champion of the fifth session of the Arab Reading Challenge at the level of Al-Azhar education went to Fatima Atef Abdel-Razek Al-Bandari, from the second grade of middle school.

The announcement of the results of the final qualifying rounds for the Arab Reading Challenge at the level of public education and Al-Azhar education came within two separate digital events in which the Minister of Education and Technical Education in Egypt, Dr. Tariq Shawky, the Honorable Al-Azhar Undersecretary, Sheikh Saleh Abbas Jumaa, and the Secretary General of the Arab Reading Challenge Project Mona Al-Kindi.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Reading Challenge Initiative, Mona Al-Kindi, appreciated the Egyptian participation in this year's session of the Arab Reading Challenge, whether at the level of public education or Azharite education, as Egyptian students accounted for more than 60% of the total participants representing 52 countries, What translates to their passion for reading and knowledge.
