New Corona Announced as a 5-person infectious cluster at a nursing care facility in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo November 4, 20:11

Katsushika-ku, Tokyo announced that it was confirmed that a total of five people, including users and staff, were infected with the new coronavirus at nursing homes in the ward, and that a group of infected people = a cluster occurred.

The cluster occurred at a facility that provides day service in Okudo, Katsushika-ku.



According to Katsushika Ward, on the 30th of last month, a test was conducted on a woman in her 80s who was found to be infected with a family member living with her, and it was confirmed to be positive.



For this reason, a total of 49 people, including staff and users who worked on the day the woman visited the facility, were inspected, and by the 4th, 4 new infections were found.



All five have mild symptoms.



According to the ward, the facility took measures against infection, such as setting a limit on the number of people at the table when eating, but it was difficult for some users to wear masks.



The facility is disinfecting and the day service has been suspended since the 31st of last month.
