It is noted that the epicenter of the disaster was on the eastern coast of Kamchatka at a depth of 11 km.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or destructions as a result of the incident.
Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 was recorded in the Pacific Ocean, off the eastern coast of Kamchatka.
