Several opposition members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council were arrested!

It is reported that each of the above persons was involved in the incident of the House Committee of the Legislative Council on May 8 this year and was suspected of "violating the crime of contempt and interference in the Legislative Council Powers and Privileges Act."

So far, a total of 7 people have been arrested in connection with the incident of the House Committee of the Legislative Council.

  Zhu Kaidi posted a post on social media Facebook this morning and was arrested by the police at 7 a.m. this morning, saying that it was related to the meeting of the Legislative Council House Committee chaired by Li Huiqiong on May 8th.

Chen Zhiquan also posted on Facebook saying that he was arrested at about the same time, and the defendant was arrested for 3 crimes, concerning the Legislative Council Privileges Ordinance, and the event will be held on May 8.
