Telecom fraud "sequelae" The court returned the stolen money and exhausted his whole body to "solve the count". He still couldn't believe it after finding someone to "verify"

After seeing the certificate, Mr. Zhong still doesn't believe Tan Wei

There is a saying that once bitten by a snake, ten years afraid of well rope.

Ever since he encountered telecommunications fraud, Mr. Zhong has become "allergic" to network information, his mobile phone dare not click on links, and unfamiliar numbers generally don’t answer... the court staff called him, and the 8,000 yuan stolen money had to be refunded to him, but he couldn’t Make him believe that the good news is true.

And all this stems from the fact that after receiving a call from a stranger in October last year, he took the initiative to transfer 8,000 yuan to the other party, "It is difficult to accept how stupid I was."

In addition to not believing in the court's information on returning stolen goods, Mr. Zhong was also skeptical about reporters' interview requests.

On October 30, Mr. Zhong told reporters about the "sequelae" of his telecommunications fraud. Tan Wei, assistant to the executive judge of the People's Court of Daying County, Sichuan, also introduced the incident to reporters.

 Dumbfounding

  2 calls + WeChat + small video

The man still doesn't believe the judge will refund the money

Recently, when Tan Wei, assistant to the executive judge of the People's Court of Daying County of Sichuan, settled a telecom fraud case, the refund of the stolen money was handed over to him.

He called Mr. Zhong, who was far away in Zhuhai, and said that he had 8,000 yuan to be refunded.

A few days ago, he made a phone call and Mr. Zhong didn't answer the phone for the first time. Later, he answered "Oh" and "Oh", but nothing happened.

Tan Wei told him to come to the court to go through the formalities, but never waited.

On the morning of October 28th, Tan Wei dialed Mr. Zhong's phone again. Mr. Zhong bluntly said that he had doubts in his heart, whether he had encountered a liar again.

Tan Wei explained in detail that Mr. Zhong said that he was in Zhuhai, Guangdong and could not go to the British Court.

Tan Wei proposed to apply online and add WeChat to facilitate the transmission of information.

After adding WeChat, Mr. Zhong still questioned Tan Wei's identity.

In order to prove his identity, Tan Wei had to take pictures and pass his work permit... and took a small video of the office environment, but Mr. Zhong still didn't believe it.

Tan Wei suggested that Mr. Zhong go online to check the hotline of the British court, and then call to "check back" Tan Wei's identity and the handling of this case.

Tan Wei waited for Mr. Zhong to check it. When it was almost noon, he received a call from a lady saying that he had made a mistake and asked who Tan Wei was.

When Tan Wei heard his accent, he guessed that Mr. Zhong arranged it. He was really anxious and funny.

Typical "sequelae"

I still don’t believe it after verifying my identity

  "Feel like a three-year-old kid"

Mr. Zhong told reporters that he didn't believe in Tan Wei at first, so he "don't want to talk to him."

However, in the end, with the mentality to give it a try, Mr. Zhong called the court hotline.

The other party said that there was indeed Tan Wei, and the phone number could be matched, so he agreed to sign the receipt sent to him by Tan Wei through WeChat and passed his bank account number, account name, account bank and other information.

In the afternoon, he sent Tan Wei again to confirm the matter, only to find that Tan Wei had deleted his WeChat account.

Mr. Zhong hurriedly re-added Tan Wei's WeChat. Tan Wei explained that the business was completed and deleted the WeChat.

"Because I was deceived like this last time, people in their 30s are now (again) facing such things like a three-year-old child." Mr. Zhong explained to Tan Wei.

In October last year, Mr. Zhong, who was in Zhuhai, encountered financial difficulties.

He borrowed money on an online loan app, and received a call the next day. The other party told him in a threatening tone that the app was an online fraud and the money must be transferred to him immediately, otherwise the court would Prosecute, arrest him at the police station, and ask debt companies to come to him.

Mr. Zhong, who had never borrowed on the Internet, was very nervous. He immediately bound the credit card according to the request of the other party, and found that the deduction failed. He transferred 8,000 yuan in two more times.

Mr. Zhong finally realized that he was deceived and went to the police station to report the case. Soon he received a call from a policeman from a police station in Suining, Sichuan and asked him about the incident and identity information, but there was no more news.

In late October this year, after receiving a call from the People’s Court of Daying County to return the stolen goods, Mr. Zhong called the police station to ask whether the case was closed. The other party said that he did not know, which made him even more suspicious of Tan Wei’s identity and purpose.

Mr. Zhong told reporters that he still does not fully believe in Tan Wei. Although he can't find any flaws, he just can't believe it, "It's 50-50, unless the money is paid."

In this regard, Tan Wei told reporters that the refunded dirty money is currently in the process and will be transferred to Mr. Zhong's account in the near future.
