Sean Connery has died.
The Scottish star actor turned 90 years old.
For many, he is forever closely linked James Bond - Connery was the first to play the British gentleman spy on the white canvas.
- Bond was a completely new type of hero and a new form of exciting action film that set a completely new standard for this kind of film, says Orvar Säfström.
But he also points out that Connery had more sides and could play many different kinds of roles, but always with his own characteristic sign.
- He was an action actor who could be taken seriously, there was a kind of pondus in him that was not only in the physical but also in the acting itself.
