Activists circulated clips related to the earthquake, the most prominent of which was a clip of a famous video game broadcasting site, fleeing the moment of the earthquake, and platforms also celebrated a clip showing the rescue of Turkish civil defense teams of a woman who was stuck under the rubble for 17 hours.


Rescue operations were not limited to humans, as global platforms were swept by a clip showing the moment of saving a cat from under the rubble of a building.

In turn, Iraqi politician Tareq Al-Hashemi tweeted, "My sincere condolences and sympathy to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and to the brotherly Turkish people for the victims of the Izmir earthquake, we pray to God to preserve Turkey as a safe country and provide its people with the fruits and blessings and all Muslim countries ...
