Abukuma Express was cut off at 15.4 km between Marumori Station in Miyagi Prefecture and Tomino Station in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, due to sediment flowing into the section that straddles Miyagi and Fukushima due to typhoon No. 19 in October last year.
