There are legendary cemeteries in the world that are true tourist attractions. That is to say, because of their monumentality, their beauty, the paranormal phenomena cataloged in them or even because of the importance of who is buried there, they have become famous places of pilgrimage. Examples of this are, among many others, that of New Orleans (USA), that of Père-Lachaise in Paris - today converted into a park where, among more than a million abandoned graves, the singer Jim Morrison, the composer Chopin rest or the writer Oscar Wilde-, the terrifying Greyfriar (Edinburgh) or the spectacular American Cemetery of Omaha Beach (Normandy, France), with 10,000 perfectly aligned white crosses pointing to America on a cliff. In the case of Spain, we have cemeteries that are monumental jewels, such as La Almudena (Madrid), Montjuïc (Barcelona) or Derio (Bilbao), and also many others, smaller, that due to their uniqueness worth visiting. Taking advantage of the Day of the Dead (Monday, November 2), we propose 10 that stand out for their many peculiarities.
