Vietnamese men and women arrested for illegal stay "Unemployed at the new Corona" October 31, 7:41

Of the 13 men and women of Vietnamese nationality who were arrested for continuing to stay illegally in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, some stated to the investigation that they had lost their jobs due to the effects of the new coronavirus. I found out by interviewing the investigators.

All of them are doing technical intern training outside Gunma prefecture, and it seems that they got to know each other through SNS, and police are investigating the connection with a series of livestock theft cases.

Thirteen men and women in their 20s and 30s, who are Vietnamese nationals, were arrested on suspicion of violating the Immigration Control Act, alleging that they had been staying in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture, with their period of stay expired.

In the police search so far, about 30 frozen chickens were found in the house in Ota city where I was staying, and some of the 13 people exchanged information on buying and selling pork on SNS. There is a suspicion that it was.

In a subsequent investigation, some of the 13 people stated that they had lost their jobs due to the influence of the new coronavirus or that they could not return to Vietnam because the plane did not fly due to the influence of the corona. However, I found out by interviewing the investigators.

All of them are doing technical intern training outside Gunma prefecture, such as Ibaraki and Kumamoto, and it seems that they got to know each other through the SNS of the Vietnamese community.

Police are investigating the relationship with a series of livestock theft cases in the Kanto region, mainly in Gunma prefecture.
