[Explanation] This new route is jointly opened by China United Shipping and Xinxinhai Shipping, a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Group, and a total of two 1200TEU (international standard container) container ships have been put into weekly operation.
The route realizes the direct transportation of products between Hainan and Vietnam, and connects the supply chain system between the Yangtze River Delta region of China, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hainan Free Trade Port and Vietnam by connecting Ningbo, Shanghai, Shekou, Hong Kong and other ports.
[Explanation] China United Shipping is the first local international shipping company to open an international liner route in Hainan since the "Overall Plan for the Construction of Hainan Free Trade Port" was released.
The company is optimistic about the development prospects of Yangpu's shipping industry and plans to open liner routes from Yangpu to Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries.
