The nation's number one effort is to enliven the industry by teaming up with "Kimetsu no Yaiba", a craftsman who makes demon tiles that have been displayed on the roof for a long time as a ward off evil, and "Kimetsu no Yaiba", which is gaining popularity in animated films. It started in Takahama City, Aichi Prefecture, where tiles are produced.

This initiative was planned by Takahama City and unions such as the craftsman "Oni-shi" who makes onigawara, in order to revitalize the industry.

At Takahama City Hall, the unveiling ceremony of the monument featuring the character "Kimetsu no Yaiba" was held on the 30th, and Eisuke Yamamoto, the president of the Sanshu Tile Industry Cooperative, said, "The charm of Ibushi silver, the words demon master and demon tile are young. I want people to know its charm, "he said.

After that, the demon master and other related parties closed the curtain, and 15 tile-shaped monuments were shown.

The monument is made by nine demon masters using the same technique as the demon tile, and the tile with a length and width of 30 cm is decorated with 14 anime characters and a logo.

Mayor Hatsuhiro Yoshioka of Takahama City said, "I hope it will be an opportunity for people all over the country to know that the techniques of demon masters protect Japanese culture."

Efforts to revitalize the industry will continue until January 29, next year, during which there will be sales of goods and events where you can experience the work of a demon master.
