Okayama Prefecture announced that 31 people living in the prefecture have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Okayama Prefecture to 261.
The prefecture also announced that one patient who had already been infected had died.
The age and gender are not disclosed.
This brings the death toll in Okayama Prefecture to four.
