On the morning of Thursday, October 29, a knife attack took place in the Notre-Dame basilica in Nice.

The toll is three dead and several injured.

Following this attack, which took place two weeks after the assassination of teacher Samuel Paty, the vigipirate plan was raised to “emergency attack” level throughout France.
