According to Hong Kong media reports, Zhong Hanlin, the former convener of the "Hong Kong Independence" organization "Student Dongyuan", was arrested again on Tuesday (27) for violating the Hong Kong National Security Law and was detained to the west today (29). The Kowloon Magistrates' Courts appeared.

Zhong Hanlin was charged with four crimes including secession of the country, money laundering, and conspiracy to publish seditious publications.

The prosecution applied for adjournment of the case. Zhong Hanlin does not need to respond for the time being, but his application for bail was rejected. The designated judge ordered him to be remanded until January 7 next year.

  According to a report on the 27th of Hong Kong East Net, Zhong Hanlin was arrested by officers of the Hong Kong Police National Security Department. He was suspected of publishing content about inciting others to split the country on online social platforms since August this year, violating Article 21 of the Hong Kong National Security Law inciting secession Crimes and suspected money laundering crimes.

Hong Kong media said that he went to the US Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau to seek political asylum the day before yesterday (27). He was arrested by the National Security Agency at the coffee shop opposite.

  Two other members of "Student Dongyuan", He Xinnuo (17 years old) and Chen Weixian (16 years old), were also arrested when they reported to Tin Sum and Tuen Mun police stations at noon that day.
