In May of this year, Li Hua received a phone call from his daughter Song Yuan (pseudonym) that her grandson, the girl child (pseudonym), had been scalded and was rescued in the hospital and was dying.
When Li Hua arrived at the hospital, the 6-year-old Tongtong suffered extensive burns all over his body, with red burn marks all over his body, with gauze wrapped on his head and bandages on his arms.

She could barely get out of bed and walk, still limping, and her arms could not bend freely.
The suspects arrested by the police are the child’s biological mother Song Yuan and Song Yuan’s boyfriend Chen Wei (pseudonym).
Tong Tong's father Tong Liang (pseudonym) told reporters that he must apply to the court to take back custody of his children.

Li Hua recalled that she learned last September that her daughter-in-law had negotiated a divorce.

The doctor revealed that Tongtong was taken to the hospital only 9 days after his injury. He was already in danger of life, with multiple fractures on his body, new injuries and old injuries, and a sewing needle in his thigh.
According to the diagnosis of Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University, Tongtong had rib fractures, multiple pelvic fractures, parietal fractures, old distal ulna fractures, femoral neck fractures, thoracic vertebrae fractures and more than 10 fractures. In addition, there were moderate burns and thoracic fractures. The critical illness notice under the hospital stated that Tongtong is in critical condition and may suffer from respiratory and cardiac arrest at any time.
"I have to go find a few cushions when I die"
Li Hua said the doctor suggested that the child might be abused.
Before the operation on May 28, Li Hua proposed that the guardian of the child in the hospital was changed from Song Yuan to himself.
Before the child was anesthetized, while Song Yuan was not around, Li Hua secretly asked: "Baby, grandma is by my side now, don't be afraid, to be honest, how did you get hot?"
The granddaughter told her that it was Chen Wei who held him down and burned it with hot water.

On June 12, Song Yuan was arrested on suspicion of abuse.

Li Hua returned to Fushun from Shenyang by taxi with his child.
After returning home, Li Hua asked the child many times why he was beaten without saying.

Father asks to take back custody
