A little over a month before the event, the management of the Trans Musicales festival announced on Thursday the cancellation of its edition, which was to be held from December 2 to 6.
The decision to confine all of France until at least December 1 made it impossible to organize the festival, even if it was redesigned.

The organization had tried to adapt to health constraints by leaving the Parc-Expo and its impossible gauges in times of Covid, before writing “a new scenario” at the announcement of the night curfew.
It was the seventh time since confinement that the Trans programmers had tried to organize.
