The two sisters designers Yusra and Maryam Rahmani's project, "Classy YM", began in 2015 when they were in school, when they had a great passion for fashion.

The dream began with the world of accessories that they used to sell, and then they moved to work in the field of clothing that is their favorite, as they worked first to provide what is suitable for them, and then developed a plan to start the project with a small capital that does not exceed 800 dirhams.

Yousra Al-Rahmani confirmed to "Emirates Today", that the great turnout by girls for the brand and the nature of designs, especially as it is aimed at the modern, veiled and Emirati women in particular, led to their success.

This beginning, which was modest, was not easy, but was punctuated by many difficulties, which Yusra spoke about, saying: “The beginnings are often loaded with challenges, and the most prominent challenges that we faced were the shortage of labor, because we started designing and sewing, and we did not have workers to support in Work during the day, in addition to that, besides work, we had to focus on studying, especially since we started a small business. ”

Yousra emphasized that proving the name in the market and in the world of design depends mainly on the quality of production and providing what is distinctive, with the tendency to provide reasonable prices to customers.

Regarding the basic advice that you give to beginners in their projects, she noted that it is necessary to go to a profession in which a person carries passion, because passion is the main motivation to continue regardless of difficulties.

Regarding the way she is heading in the design world, Yusra pointed out that she is more inclined to simplicity, as their designs are characterized by soft cuts with light movements, which makes them very comfortable and suitable for daily work and travel.

It is currently working on launching new collections every two or three weeks, as it moves to introduce a whole new package every month.

As for work, she and her sister noted that Maryam is in charge of the administrative work, while Yusra carries out all the tasks related to work in the field of design, explaining that they are working hard to implement the strategic plan for the spread of their brand, and aspire to open a group of new branches inside and outside the UAE.

Leather and feathers

The fashion for this season is characterized by the fact that it carries a lot of leather, which made Yusra innovate in the field of gowns, and enter the skin on the Emirati abaya, considering that the Emirati women who wear the abaya in fashion want to renew and introduce distinct ideas in their appearance.

As for the most popular colors this season, they are earthy colors, including brown and gray, which are characterized by their slightly wide cuts, as there is a demand for comfortable clothes very much.

In addition to introducing the leather element on the cloak, Yusra pointed out that she had inserted feathers on another cloak, noting that she proposed renewed ideas with the aim of presenting everything suitable for women of this age in order to always provide contemporary looks.
