In Guinea, activities are resuming very gradually on the outskirts of Conakry, particularly affected by the violence that followed the presidential election of October 18.
The Electoral Commission proclaimed incumbent President Alpha Condé the winner in the first round.
A victory contested by his main opponent Cellou Dalein Diallo.
Officially, 21 people were killed during the demonstrations that followed the vote, around 30 according to the opposition.
The army was deployed as a reinforcement to ensure the maintenance of order.
For several days, some neighborhoods were cordoned off by the defense and security forces, their inhabitants cut off from the world.
