Lights in the shape of the main hall with a wish to rebuild Shuri Castle Naha October 29, 5:15

31 days after the fire at Shurijo Castle, a year ago, a light was lit in Naha City in the shape of the main hall of Shurijo Castle with a wish for reconstruction.

This light was also lit at the commercial facility "Palette Kumoji" in the center of Naha City on the night of the 28th as part of a project for the reconstruction of Shuri Castle carried out by multiple companies in the prefecture.

When the LED lights turned on in time with the countdown by the local high school students, the lights in the shape of the main hall of Shurijo Castle were turned on, and the visitors captured the moment in the camera.

In the project, the lights in the shape of Shurijo Castle will be lit until the 15th of next month, and from the 31st to the 8th of next month, a night market will be held at Shurijo Castle Park to increase the momentum for reconstruction.

A 78-year-old woman from Naha said, "The moment the lights came on, I felt that the people of Okinawa were united in their feelings and wished for the reconstruction of Shuri Castle. I'm doing it. "

Kunihide Hara, chief of Orion Breweries, who planned the project, said, "Within less than a year after the fire at Shuri Castle, the influence of the new coronavirus spread and I wanted to increase smiles. I want tourists to come and see it. "
