China News Service, October 29. According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, from 14:00 on the 28th to 02:00 on the 29th, northeast winds of magnitude 5 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8 appeared in the Taiwan Strait, the northern waters of the South China Sea, the Qiongzhou Strait, and the Beibu Gulf. Rotating winds of magnitude 6 to 8 and gusts of magnitude 9 to 10 appeared in the central and southern waters of the South China Sea.

It is expected that during the day of the 29th, due to the combined effects of the tropical system and cold air after the weakening of Typhoon Morafe, there will be 6-7 gusts in the northeast of Taiwan Strait, northeastern South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, and Qiongzhou Strait. Wind, in the western part of the Beibu Gulf, the wind can reach level 8 and gust 9; during the day of the 30th to the night of the 31st, affected by the cold air, there will be the Taiwan Strait, the east of Taiwan, the Bashi Strait, the northeastern part of the South China Sea and the central and eastern seas. The northerly to northeasterly winds of magnitude 6-7 and gusts of magnitude 8 will have winds of magnitude 8 and 9 gusts in the Taiwan Strait, Bashi Strait, and parts of the central and eastern South China Sea.

The specific forecasts for the next three days are as follows:

From 08:00 on the 29th to 08:00 on the 30th, the Taiwan Strait, the Beibu Gulf, and the Qiongzhou Strait will have easterly to northeast winds of magnitude 6 to 7 and gusts of magnitude 8; in the northwestern South China Sea there will be winds of magnitude 5 to 7 and 8 gusts. Northeasterly wind, there will be northeast to northeast winds of magnitude 4-6 and 7 gusts in most of the East China Sea, east of Taiwan, and northeast winds of magnitude 5-6 and 7 gusts in the Bashi Strait and the northeastern part of the South China Sea. There will be easterly winds of magnitude 4-6 and gust 7 in the central and western waters of the South China Sea (Figure 1).
