A 7-year-old girl from Tai'an, Shandong Province, Yang Junxi suffers from lupus panniculitis. Her left leg was atrophy and her left foot was severely deformed.

In order to keep her legs from shrinking, she insisted on dancing every day and gained a large number of fans online.

Yang Junxi underwent corrective surgery for his left foot at the Second Hospital of Shandong University. After more than a month of recovery, he can be discharged.

On October 28, in the ward, Huang Zheng, the attending physician of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Department of the Second Hospital of Shandong University, performed the last disinfection and stitch removal for Yang Junxi.

Before the operation, Yang Junxi walked on the tip of his left foot and could not walk for a long time.

In addition, because she had been dancing with the inside of her big toe, thick calluses were worn on her feet.

After the operation, Yang Junxi’s left foot was fitted with an external fixation bracket, and she could walk down on crutches for exercise.

Huang Zheng said that Yang Junxi has recovered well from the operation and his left foot has returned to a normal shape.

However, her feet will have to go through a long recovery period. The external fixation bracket alone will have to be carried for more than a month before going to the hospital for further treatment.
